DRIVESOL WORLDWIDE, INC. RELOCATES TO NEW NORTH AMERICAN HEADQUARTERS FACILITY IN TROY, MICHIGAN

DriveSol Worldwide, Inc., one of North America’s leading designers, developers and manufacturers of pedals, adjustable pedals, electronic throttle control pedals (“ETC”), and other highly-engineered driving solutions for the global automotive industry, announces it has relocated to a new North American headquarters facility in Troy, Michigan. Mark Simon, DriveSol Worldwide CEO says, “Since our acquisition of the Teleflex Automotive Pedal Division, it was imperative that we combined our design, engineering, testing, laboratory, sales and administrative activities at one location to better manage our business and provide the level and breadth of communications required to serve our global automotive customer base.”

Within the new 16,700 sq. ft. headquarters facility is a complete engineering technical center with a 5,500 sq. ft. testing and laboratory facility that allows DriveSol to work closely with OEMs to design and develop new component and system specifications and requirements.  The facility has measurement and analysis capability for cycle, stress loads, noise, shock, vibration, lash, efficiency, compliance, installation and removal loads. DriveSol has similar engineering technical centers located in Dalstorp, Sweden and Chongqing, China.

Currently there are approximately fifty employees located at the new Troy headquarters facility including corporate management, design/engineering, sales, finance, administration and laboratory personnel.

DriveSol is a market leader in supplying adjustable pedals to the North American and Japanese markets and is currently in the process of launching its first European adjustable pedal program. The Company also manufactures over 3.5 million ETC units per year in North America, Europe, and Asia offering both contact and non-contact ETC technology as well as over 2 million fixed pedal assemblies which combine the brake, clutch, and ETC pedal in one unit.  Manufacturing facilities are located in Kendallville, Indiana; Lyons Ohio; Dalstorp, Sweden; and Chongqing, China.  DriveSol has global sales of approximately $170 million and is currently supplying products to most major global automotive OEM’s.
