INTERMEDIATE SHAFTS
DriveSol’s intermediate shafts feature a proprietary Splined Slider technology, which improves overall stiffness and sliding performance for application in hydraulic and EPAS steering systems. These shafts off a number of features that include:
- Double cardan constant velocity joints
- NVH isolators and dash panel seals
- Decouplers
- Universal joint yokes
SPLINED SLIDER TECHNOLOGY
 This unique technology was introduced in 2002 and has been applied on Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango, Dodge Ram Pickup, Dodge Ram Heavy-Duty Pickup, Merceds A-Class, and the CME Canyon and Chevy Colorado Pickup. Features and benefits include:
- High stiffness over full range of FTS
- Reduced Force-to-Slide (assembly and under torque)
- No vehicle warranty claims for SSG (Stick Slip Grip)
- Small packaging envelope
- High temperature capability - 200° C
- Lo friction coatings eliminate need for grease
- Consistent low temperature performance
- Electrical isolation

EPAS I-SHAFTS
The EPAS (Electric Power Assist Steering) intermediate shaft developed by DriveSol is helping to pave the way for the future focus on global EPAS markets as well as provide the electric steering technology base for integrated steering column/pedal product development.
